Mom Urges Others To Throw Away THIS Common Sunblock Immediately - Her Reason Is Shocking...
Parents should be warned this summer when choosing where to purchase sunscreen, especially for young children. Over the past year several brands have been the cause of severe second and third-degree burns resulting in permanent scarring and trips to the hospital.
Burns Resulting in Permanent Scarring
On Wednesday July 15th 2015 one mother's nightmare came true after purchasing and applying EAD Broad Spectrum Sunscreen from the Dollar Tree. Her 9-year-old son suffered painful second-degree burns that resulted in weeks of healing after being treated by doctors. "These burns will scar. They will scar physically and emotionally. And as a mother, my heart is broken. I bought the sunscreen. I put it on his body. In trying to protect him, I ended up hurting him so badly. And I'm mad. So very, very mad," explained the boy's mother.
Traumatic Burn Injuries
Another similar case of tragedy occurred after a mother purchased a DG body spray sunblock from Dollar General whose son also experienced traumatic burn injuries.
Prevention
Be sure to do your research this summer and test out any sunscreens before applying them on your kids. Sticking with well known, reliable brands may just prevent such a travesty from happening to you.
