How to Make One Pot Cheeseburgers
What if everyone wanted a cheeseburger but you didn't have any buns for them? Or, they wanted a burger but didn't have the time or patience to grill them? Look no further:
One Pot Cheeseburger
Materials needed:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 diced onion
1 28oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 8oz can tomato sauce
2 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 lb rotini pasta
2 cups water
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
1. Drizzle olive oil in a pan and add the ground beef and onion.
2. Cook over medium heat until the beef is cooked and brown.
3. Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, ketchup, mustard, pasta and water.
4. Stir the mixture and then cover and let simmer for 15 minutes.
5. Add cheddar cheese and cover the pot again until cheese melts.
6. Your dish is ready! Place a serving in a dish and dig in!
It's always nice to know that you can have cheeseburgers without stepping out to grill them, or taking the time to bake them in the oven. They just don't taste as good in the oven! Anyways, enjoy!
