How to Make Cheesy Taco Sticks
Have you ever wished bosco or mozzarella sticks would have meat in them? What about taco meat? This delicious recipe tells you how to make the best cheesy taco sticks. Here's how to start:
Cheesy Taco Sticks
Materials needed:
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 tube Pillsbury pizza dough
1 block cheddar cheese
4 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried parsley
Instructions:
1. Cook the ground beef over medium-high heat in a large pan on the stovetop. Drain the excess grease and leave out to cool to room temperature.
2. Stir in the taco seasoning and cook over medium heat for a few minutes.
3. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
4. Roll out the pizza dough and cut down the middle horizontally, as shown in the video. Next, make four vertical cuts to make 10 pieces total.
5. Spoon the cooked ground beef onto each piece of the pizza dough. Add a strip of cheddar cheese and fold the dough over it as shown in the video.
6. Mix the butter, garlic powder and parsley in a small bowl. Brush each taco stick with the mixture.
7. Bake in the oven at 425 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Enjoy!
These make an excellent appetizer for most occasions. You can even try buying or making a dip for these. Sour cream or guacamole would be perfect!
