All the Royal Wedding Details We Know So Far
The royal wedding is this Saturday, May 19th at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. People around the world are excited to watch and celebrate this wedding, which will without a doubt be the wedding of the year.
While the dress is still a major secret, the Palace has released several major details about the nuptials. Here are all the major royal wedding details we know as of now.

The Venue
The wedding will take this place this Saturday at 12:00 pm local time at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. Following the wedding service, the couple will take a carriage ride from the Chapel through Windsor Town to see spectators and well-wishers. Following the carriage ride, there will be a reception for guests from the congregation. Later that evening Prince Harry’s father, Prince Charles, will host a private evening reception for the couple and their close friends.
The Wedding Party
Prince Harry and Meghan have chosen 10 children to be members of their bridal party which includes Prince George and Princess Charlotte as a page boy and a bridesmaid, respectively. Other members of the bridal party include some of the couple’s godchildren and children of family friends.
Prince Harry’s brother, Duke of Cambridge (Prince William) will be the best man, and Meghan will not have a maid of honour.
The Officiants
The wedding will feature an address from The Most Reverend Michael Bruce Curry, as well as officiating from the Dean of Windsor, the Rt. Revd. David Conner and The Most. Revd. and Rt. Hon. Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury who will officiate as the couple says their wedding vows.
The Flowers
Florist Philippa Craddock and the Crown Estate gardeners are growing and preparing the flowers to fill in the church on the day. The team of florists includes florists from St. George’s Chapel and Buckingham Palace.
The Cake
American-born cake designer Claire Ptak will be making the wedding cake. Ptak owns the London-based Violet Bakery. The couple have asked her to create a lemon elderflower cake covered with buttercream and decorated with fresh flowers. Sounds royally delicious!
The Guests
Members of the Royal Family will be in attendance, including the Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) who has been on maternity leave since the birth of her third child, Prince Louis.
Prince Harry’s relatives from his mother’s side will be attending, including her brother, Earl Charles Spencer, and Diana’s two sisters, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes. Lady Jane Fellowes will give a reading at the wedding.
Prince Andrew's ex-wife Sarah Ferguson is not believed to be invited however her daughters, Prince Harry's cousins, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are expected to attend.
After a slew of rumours regarding whether or not Meghan Markle's father, Thomas Markle, will attend the wedding, Meghan confirmed today that he will not be there to walk her down the aisle. Meghan's mother, Gloria Ragland, will be in attendance.
The real question on everyone’s mind is which celebrity guests will attend the wedding. In a 90s dream come true, All 5 members of the Spice Girls will be in attendance. Other celebrity guests include Priyanka Chopra and Serena Williams. The cast of Suits, Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy, and George and Amal Clooney are also rumoured to be on the guest list.
