While in the womb, babies exchange DNA with thier mother. Cells left by the baby can live in the mother for years.

If a mother suffer any kind of organ damage while her baby is in the womb, the baby will send stem cells to that organ in order to help repair it.
Baby kisses
As a mother, have you ever felt compelled to kiss your baby? It's instinctual because she'll ingest any bacteria on the baby's skin, thus creating antibodies that go into her breast milk that will protect the baby from possible infection.
Facial hair
A baby actually grows a mustache in the womb that it then sheds and eats. This becomes part of the meconium.

Babies learn the accent of their mother and try to imitate it when they cry. Because of this, it's possible to tell a German baby from a French one or even an American baby.
