This 196 square foot home was built by architect Macy Miller after she decided she wanted a home of her own, but not the hassle of a traditional mortgage. This home is totally portable and dripping with style; and it only cost $11,000!

We've all heard of house boats, but I bet you've never seen an actual floating house! Designed by architect Dymitr Malcew, this home sits atop a buoyant platform that allows it remain floating while minimizing its disturbance.

One of the coolest homes on our list is this Thailand based structure was built by Steve Areen. This home features a hammock and a personal pond. Most of the interior is made with all natural materials.
Serenity in New York
When you think of New York, you may not think of a tiny home tucked into the woods. This off the grid cabin is only 14 feet by 14 feet. It's owned by prominent New York designer Scott Newkirkm who uses it as a summer getaway home.
